Welcome to
West Torrington

A small hamley in rural Lincolnshire with historic links to St Gilbert of Sempringham and Thomas Wimberley Mossman.   We are proud of our little village church and we are working to return it to its place at the centre of our community.

Our Purpose

We are a charity supporting West Torrington and the wider area to protect and restore local heritage and support isolated areas to tackle rural disadvantage. In 2024 we purchased the local closed church to create a much needed community indoor space to support these aims. We provide activities and events to minimise rural isolation, provide cultural & heritage opportunities, education & support.
